Server

A server is a device that provides functions or services for clients. When you think of servers, you probably are thinking of powerful servers in data centers, but servers encompass more machines than that. For example, when you Airdrop a file to your friend’s iPhone, your phone is acting as the server, while your friend’s phone is the client.
